The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) announces that Tanya Porter will join its Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2019.
An executive with more than 20 years of experience leading profitable, value-based, healthcare organizations, Porter is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Davita Medical Group (JSA Medical Group/Healthcare Partners) in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this position, she oversees new business acquisitions and is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction. She also oversees Davita’s affiliate division which enables non-employed physicians to participate in global risk-sharing; the division has grown exponentially from five to 93 affiliated centers since its inception.
Porter has extensive experience in diverse managed care organizations, giving her a fresh perspective to bring to the AOF Board of Directors. She is energetic, innovative, collaborative, and highly accountable, with strengths in maintaining physician relationships, population health, contract negotiations, quality improvement, and building successful teams.
