The Paul S. McCord, DO, Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a third-year student at Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (MWU/CCOM) in recognition of their dedication to providing medical services in underserved or disadvantaged areas. The AOF is proud to recognize Katherine Enrietto, OMS III, as the 2023 recipient of this scholarship.

She is actively involved in the Student American Academy of Osteopathy (SAAO) and serves as a mentor to high school students, providing immersive experiences in the field of medicine through MWU/CCOM’s Mini Medical School.

Student Doctor Enrietto excels academically, and she is equally passionate about volunteer projects that improve the lives of people in her community: “(At (MWU/CCOM) I have continued to serve underserved populations by volunteering with Midwestern’s Mini medical school. This program allowed me to connect with gifted high school students who want to attend medical school and help not only foster a love of science, but also mentor them as they begin their journey in the healthcare field.”
