Each year, the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) provides International Medical Outreach Travel Grants through two funds: the Rossnick Family Fund and the DOCARE International Fund. This year’s travel stipends will support outreach trips occurring through March 31, 2027. Grants are awarded to Osteopathic medical students and residents who are planning to travel internationally to an underserved, underdeveloped or disaster-stricken area to provide medical coverage.
The Rossnick Family Fund honors Joni B. Rossnick, DO, and annually awards up to 100 grants of up to $1,500 each to Osteopathic medical students traveling on COM/SOM-approved international medical trips.
Through a fund established by DOCARE International, the AOF annually provides up to 10 grants of up to $1,500 each to Osteopathic medical students or residents participating in DOCARE approved international medical outreach trips.
