The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) announced the election of Jeffrey S. Grove, DO, to its board of Directors.

“I’m honored to have been chosen to serve on the AOF Board, where I hope to help the Foundation grow endowment and develop new dedicated scholarship funds,” said Dr. Grove, who currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Professor of Family Medicine – Geriatrics for both Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton.

A board-certified osteopathic family physician from Clearwater Beach, Florida, Dr. Grove has dedicated a large portion of his career to leadership. He served as president of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, among other prestigious professional organizations. He is a current member of the Board of Governors of the NSU Health Professions Division and its related Foundation.

“Dr. Grove is a tried-and-true leader who brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and vision to the AOF Board,” said AOF Executive Director Stephen Downey, CAE, CFRE. “His extensive influence in Florida and throughout the profession will undoubtedly enhance the AOF’s fundraising and philanthropic efforts.”

Dr. Grove earned his bachelor of science in biology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland before graduating from the Southeastern University of Health Sciences-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a traditional rotating internship and family medicine residency at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida.
