CHICAGO (AUGUST 27, 2018) – The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) is pleased to welcome Terry Sanders as Director of Development.
Terry joined the AOF on August 6, 2018. She will oversee all aspects of the Development Department and work to advance the Foundation’s strategic initiatives by creating new relationships, building a loyal donor community and implementing new giving programs and opportunities.
Most recently, Terry served as Vice President of Development for the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and Executive Director of the PHJC Foundation, where she implemented the congregation’s first planned giving program and developed donor stewardship programs.
“I am thrilled to have Terry join the AOF team,” states Rita Forden, AOF Chief Executive Officer, “and am confident she will help refine and expand AOF’s fundraising initiatives. Terry has a proven track record in each of our strategic growth areas, as well as demonstrated success in building upon the loyalty of existing donors and the identification of new partners. We know Terry will have a tremendous impact on the continued success of the Foundation.”
Terry has previously served as the served as the President & CEO of local Chapters of several national voluntary health organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Heart Association. She was also the National Walk Director for the Lupus Foundation of America. She is a graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, IL.
