The Thomas A. Quinn, DO Osteopathic Scholarship recognizes a second-year osteopathic medical student who is committed to osteopathic principles and practice, has excelled academically, and will continue to enhance their OMM skills in an osteopathically-focused residency.
Students applying for this award should have a strong enthusiasm for and proficiency in the use of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), excellent academic achievement, and noteworthy accomplishments that demonstrate the applicant's commitment to the osteopathic philosophy.

Dr. Quinn's passion for providing quality patient care is deeply rooted in the osteopathic philosophy. Dr. Quinn served a 24-year military career; being one of the first DOs to be commissioned as a medical officer in the US Armed Forces (U.S. Navy), and regularly promotes the profession in many speeches and publications. He is now Clinical Professor at LECOM Bradenton and teaches the Osteopathic History and Heritage Course.
